The Perfect Diet Tracker has now been certified to work with Windows 8.
No changes will be needed if you want to upgrade to Windows 8, or purchase a new PC with the latest operating system installed, the app should simply work as before on the Windows 8 desktop, and our tests also show Dropbox sync also works so you can keep your data in sync with other devices.
All versions should work, but as it is the latest version that has been certified we do recommend that you make sure you are using the latest and greatest version of the Perfect Diet Tracker on your computer at all times. To check to see if you have the latest version simply click on the version number in the top right of the login window in the Perfect Diet Tracker.
The first release of Tracker2Go for Android devices is now available in the Android Market!
Tracker2Go for Android is a fully featured stand alone diet tracking app and does not need the Perfect Diet Tracker to operate, but of course they make excellent companion products!
It has access to the same large database as its big brother, whilst the features have been scaled to be workable with a smaller device, and to allow a low entry price point.
We are already working on a sync feature for the app so you can sync your mobile data with the Perfect Diet Tracker (just like the iOS version), so as they say ‘watch this space, the best is yet to come’!
The V1.1 update to the Tracker2Go App for iPhone and iPad has been approved by Apple and is now available in the iTunes store. If you have a copy of version 1 simply start iTunes and check for App updates, the iTunes store will do the rest, and as usual updates are free.
The Perfect Diet Tracker has been updated!
If you purchased the Perfect Die Tracker through the Mac App Store, the new version is currently with Apple and ‘in review’. As soon as it is approved the App Store will let you know an update is available.
Whats new in this version…
– Expanded food database to over 85,000 items.
– Bug fix: Issue displaying weight chart when entries prior to 1985 are added, fixed.
– Bug fix: Duplicate notes, fixed.
– Enhancement: Faster internet food searches.
You can also use the download buttons to the right to obtain the new version now.
The first release of the Tracker2Go mobile app is now available on the App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch users.
This is the first release, and to simplify the review procedure this release does not contain the sync feature to let you sync with the Perfect Diet Tracker, but fear not, it is coming!
We are also progressing well with the iPad and Android versions of the App, and these should be available soon!
In the meantime, if you want to take a look at the new Tracker2Go App, you can download it from the App Store.
The theory behind the coffee diet is that coffee contains caffeine and caffeine can increase your metabolic rate by up to 10%. Increasing your metabolic rate lets you eat more calories and stay the same weight, or if you eat fewer calories than your body needs then you will lose weight.
However, there is a catch. As soon as you start to add milk, creamer, sugar etc your coffee diet goes right out of the window as any calories you may burn as a result of the caffeine effect on your metabolism can easily be used up by the additions.
